Katherine Heigl discusses the ways that growing up in a 'white bubble' affected the way she raised her multiracial family. She was in the movie "Firefly Lane", revealed to an interviewer that it didn't matter how dark her skin color was for her. After meeting her adopted Korean American older sister, she realised the distinction in the way people took care of her. I inquired of Meg if when she was she was out with her parents she received a certain treatment and when out alone, she got a completely different treatment. She said, 'Oh, yeah, all the all the time! This made me realize I was so ignorant," Heigl said to parents. Heigl said she got upset and believed it was crucial to put her anger on helping the adopted children she has. Heigl shares a son of four year with Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. then Adalaide who was 8 years young and Black in 2012.
