April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born July 4, 1995. In the seventh grade she began to take piano and guitar lessons. It was this that ignited her love to write songs. April's first song was Different which she composed at the age of 12. At 14 years old, April was spending a lot of time writing songs and honed her musicianship ability. After a while, she began to go on trips with her dad and write at home in NY and LA. April began also to incorporate additional topics that were related to of her classmates who struggle in the area of social pressure and teens who commit suicide through the songs Take my Hand. Lockhart is an influencer in the beauty and lifestyle industry who has a growing following. She collaborates with the renowned brand Ilia with whom she has a partnership and is also a specialist in lifestyle. She was born with no left hand, and it creates her unique. However, this isn't the only thing about her. So, Lockhart's Instagram account isn't afraid to talk about her disabilities, yet it's not focused on it as well. The message is? that we are all a part of a multitude of identities and we're greater than the physical person we are. Lockhart in a video message from Nashville at home, claims I don't want this to define my character. I am greater than the physical person I am. And it doesn't affect my daily life. I conduct things normally, and I've discovered my own way to adjust to things. It's also part of me, so I believe it's essential to discuss. Lockhart who is an motivation for self-acceptance generally and is currently on a lengthy journey to achieve this. Even so, Lockhart admits having moments that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance and wearing clothing which displayed her arms. She can wear whatever she likes, and happily shares pictures of her dressed in her favorite outfits. What makes self-love so appealing to her is that it's not a destination. However, I believe that's the case with everyone with whatever they are struggling with. It's important to be around those who are able to see you.
